Animali Domestici (Alicia Lazzaroni + Antonio Bernacchi) is  a design practice focused on the development of experimental and speculative projects, products and processes, beyond the dichotomies of culture and nature, 'infra-ordinary' and 'pseudo-normal', human and non-human.

With an interest and sensitivity towards ecology in its wider meaning, it has been investigating alternative inclusive assemblages of users and materialities, approaching crafting beyond its immediate technicality, as a creative process with “ecosystemic” implications and inspiring narratives.

AD has developed a diverse portfolio of projects that has been showcased in events like Beijing Design Week, Bangkok Design Week, Bangkok Biennial, Oslo Triennale, Seoul Biennale, Singapore ArchiFest, Venice Biennale and in institutions like Milano Triennale and Singapore Centre for Contemporary Art among others.

Alicia and Antonio have taught architectural design studio at the International Program in Design and Architecture (INDA) of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand , from 2015 to 2020, where they coordinated the 3rd and 4th year of the program.

Since August 2020 they are Assistant Professors (teaching) at Aarhus Architecture School.
